Key Equipment & Supply Company has been serving customers with equipment sales, parts, and service since 1962. Over the decades, we have built long-standing relationships with municipalities, contractors, and industry partners. With the addition of Quality Rents, our rental division, we now provide short- and long-term rental options to help our customers meet project demands with greater flexibility.
Our team operates throughout Missouri, Kansas, and much of Illinois. With six Territory Managers and multiple Parts & Service Sales Representatives, we are positioned to offer personal support and responsive service across our region. We maintain two full-service facilities, each with fully stocked parts departments and teams of factory-trained and certified technicians.

Our History
Key Equipment began as a distributor for Elgin Sweepers and Leach refuse packers, founded by Bob and Nanon Hyink. Since then, we have continually expanded our product offerings and market presence. In 1994, our coverage grew to include much of Illinois. Today, we provide a broad selection of environmental and municipal equipment, including refuse and recycling vehicles, street sweepers, sewer inspection and cleaning equipment, leaf collection machines, and remote-controlled slope mowers.

Using genuine OEM replacement parts is essential to maintaining the longevity and performance of your equipment. At Key Equipment, our Parts Department monitors and adjusts inventory regularly to ensure we have what you need, when you need it.
If a part is not immediately available in-house, our team can quickly source it through our manufacturers. We also have a team of Parts & Service Sales Representatives on the road, traveling throughout our territory to support your needs and evaluate any service concerns.
